Construction Equipment
Controlled lowering: During descent (e.g. lowering a platform), they regulate downward speed, preventing free-fall and protecting both operator and equipment
Mining Shaft Conveyance
Soft‑braking control: Hydraulic perform smooth, monitored braking for emergency stops—reducing stress on components and ropes
Winches
On hydraulic winches, integrated brake-release ports pilot brake engagement based on load: brakes remain locked until pilot pressure triggers safe release, preventing overruns
BRAKE RELEASE VALVE
Lynch brake release valves are a series of compact parking brake release valves that are typically installed in mobile applications. As a safety mechanism, it is designed to ensure the parking brake is always engaged to hold loaded motors and released on motor start-up. The valve package setting is proportional to the pressure in the braking piston chamber, thus allowing for soft disengagement and reengagement of the brake for various motor brake sizes.
