ProgramLynch Fluid Controls Quality Management System is ISO 9001:2008 and AS9100C certified. We are dedicated to providing quality products on time, and we expect the same from our suppliers. Ensuring that Lynch has reliable suppliers is crucial to the success of Lynch Fluid Controls. As an organization we are responsible for the conformity of all the products purchased from our suppliers. Lynch's Preferred Suppliers Program ensures that we have the ability to do so by monitoring and evaluating our external suppliers based on risk, product quality and on-time delivery.
EvaluationsOur Purchasing and Continuous Improvement & Quality teams work closely together to evaluate suppliers on a bi-annual or annual basis dependant on the scope of supplier approval. The supplier evaluation process consists of three levels - approved, conditional and dis-approved. The evaluation of suppliers is based on product quality, on-time delivery and associated risk. The level of risk associated with a supplier is based on various factors such as lead time, location, quality management system and if this is a sole source provider. The selection of new suppliers is primarily based on product and/or service demands and cost or based on customer request. Where possible and appropriate, or when necessary for specific projects, an on-site audit will be performed on potential suppliers. All suppliers begin with a conditional approval status; upon receipt of three successful purchase orders without any issues, a suppliers' status would be revised to approved.
