1000 Clicks
Andrew Lynch created this short clip for his documentary, 1,000 Clicks, as his entry into a global National Geographic film competition.
These inspiring 3 minutes are filled with determination, excitement, defeat and victory.
It reminds us to appreciate the simplicities in life, and the importance of setting, remembering and pursuing our goals. Please take the time to watch it, you won’t be disappointed.
Put your mind in motion. Dream it. Plan it. Do it.
‘If you refuse to accept anything but the best, you will very often get it”. Somerset Maugham

Donations to The University of Waterloo
Sun Hydraulics Corporation and Lynch Fluid Controls have donated Advanced Electro-Proportional Flow Control valves with complete components, to the University of Waterloo.
“This is a great opportunity for students in the lab to get hands-on exposure to proportional flow control valves, electrical components, and cartridge type valves. These added components will prove to be important additions in the lab”. Dr. Ehsan Toyserkani Assistant Professor - University of Waterloo
In this project, a novel rotary pneumatic valve is developed in which a switching control law is implemented on configured pneumatic passages and an embedded accumulator, thus the development of smart pneumatic valves with energy saving features. This is the second generous donation by Lynch Fluid Controls to the department. The first donation was made to the Rapid Prototyping Laboratory for the ongoing development of smart pneumatic valves with energy saving features.
Lynch is Going Green!
A number of Lynch employees travel on the same off-ramp on their way to work. When the snow melts in the spring, the garbage that accumulates through the fall and winter months is apparent. For the second year in a row, Lynch employees have volunteered to help to keep our community clean. By cleaning ¼ of the intersection, we filled 15 bags in 1.5 hours.
